Double is do-able. Our state's challenge to double Indiana baptisms in 2005 could really happen. Just think…we’d more than double if each Christian who read this article led just one person to know Jesus and be baptized. And heaven would rejoice! Need some natural, comfortable, workable ways you can open doors to share your faith today? Try these fresh ideas:
PERSONAL CORRESPONDENCE
· Sign personal correspondence with Christian encouragement, i.e. "God loves you and so do I." Pastor Jerry Adamson (Indian Heights Baptist, Kokomo, IN) sketches a road leading to a cross. Pastor Jim Fisher (Harrison Hills Baptist, Lanesville, IN), signs emails with Galatians 6:10. Add a Scripture to your printed bank checks.
· Record a message for your home and cell phone that shows your love for God.
· Create a personal email address that reflects Christ, such as GotGod; meetmeinheaven; askmeaboutjesus.
AT WORK
· Tell coworkers at the water-cooler how Jesus made a difference in your life today.
· Keep a Bible on your desk. Place Christian books on your shelf.
· Create a computer screensaver using Scripture.
· Select a favorite witnessing tract to help you share Christ easily. Check out digital tracts on www.fishthe.net/digitracts/roman.
· Guard your reputation and always give your best effort at work. When asked “why”, quote Ephesians 6:5-8.
· Invite coworkers to church. They’ll hear how to know Christ. Steve and I have been in over 100 of our Indiana churches, and every one of them shared how to be saved.
· Encourage other Christians at your work place.
· Invite your pastor to lunch with you and a work associate.
IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
· Never just wave at neighbors as you leave for church. Stop and invite them to join you.
· Deliver Christmas cookies to neighbors with a note about the meaning of Christmas and an invitation to Bible study in your home or worship at your church.
· Invite neighbors for a Christmas reception or New Year’s brunch. Plan a coffee to welcome newcomers to the neighborhood. Use a personal story or well-written note to share Christ with guests.
· Minister to neighbors in crisis. Mow the yard for an invalid. Deliver snacks when a moving van arrives on your street. Drive children to Sunday School.
FRIENDS
· Share a Christian book or music CD with a lost friend, then talk about it. My friend, Gwen, became a Christian as a young adult by reading a Christian novel.
· Many people you know are waiting for a personal invitation to come to church. Don't just tell them about great things happening there. Invite them!
· Make a lunch date with a friends or co-workers with the specific intention of sharing your personal testimony. Place Scriptures around your house for others to see. (Deut. 11:20)
IN YOUR CAR
· Place a Scripture on your car’s dash for passengers to read. My sister made a beautiful beaded cross to hang from her rearview mirror.
· Central Baptist in Richmond, IN (Sam Smith, Pastor) provides license plates with the church name and logo for the front of members' cars. Attach a Christian logo, such as a fish (ICHTHUS) or even a bumper sticker to your car.
AS YOU GO
· Where do you spend time? Share Christ there. If your kids are in sports, you’re in the "bleacher ministry." Preschool moms spend time at playgrounds, birthday parties, lessons. Your mission field can be the gym, garage sale, bowling alley or courthouse. Do you spend hours in airplanes or carpools? Ask God to open a door to witness “as you go”.
· Print business cards for church or class members to use as invitations. Include worship and Bible study time, church address, website, and a line they can sign at the bottom that says “guest of______.” Print God’s plan of salvation on the back of the card. Keep cards in your work space, your billfold, and your car’s glove compartment.
The most effective witness is your own personal testimony. Write how Jesus changed your life, then rehearse aloud until you can share a witness in sixty seconds. If you can tell it that quickly, you could even witness on an elevator! There’s a world out there dying to know about God. When He opens a door to witness, will you walk through it?

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION.
Encouraging your Bible class or church to make a New Year’s commitment to share Christ? Ask each person to write their specific plans and seal it inside a self-addressed envelope. Mail them on June 1st for a half-year reminder and encouragement.

I’ll Share Him
I'll share him as I labor. I'll share Him with my neighbor.
I'll share him at my job with my computer screen saver.
I'll share Him on the plane. I'll share Him in Fort Wayne.
I'll even take a mission trip to share Him in Ukraine.
I'll share Him with my waiter. And with my cousin, Slader.
And if I'm on my rollerblades, I'll share Him with a skater.
I’ll share Him with my vet. I’ll share him on the ‘net.
I’ll share Him with my children--that’s as good as it can get!
I'll share Him when I shop. And with the traffic cop.
I'll share him with the lifeguard when I do a belly flop.
I'll tell the scouts’ den mother. I’ll share Him with my brother.
And when I finish all of those, I'll share Him with another.
