CrossWay International Community Church (SBC) is a dynamic multi-cultural church with an expanding congregation in Owings Mills, Maryland. We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, experienced Praise and Worship leader with a passion for Jesus Christ and ability to share that passion with the congregation through music.

We are seeking an accomplished instrumentalist and vocalist. Our services are a blend of hymns, contemporary songs and praise worship music. The individual would need to be able to play the keyboard. Other instruments are also welcome.

This part-time position includes the following responsibilities:
• Oversight of all music in the worship service.
• Development of musical talents within the church.
• Leading the church in worship each Sunday morning and weekly rehearsals with the praise team.
• Recruits, mentors and trains new team members.
• Scheduling music selections for our monthly mid-week prayer services.
• Provide creative direction and vision of any music productions including special music for Resurrection Sunday, Christmas and other programs.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, creative, collaborative, adaptable and outgoing and who wants to be a part of our church family. Someone who is not only gifted musically, but whose heart is drawn to Jesus Christ and who truly has a desire to Serve Him. Formal training in music preferred, but not required.

This person would be allowed 4 Sunday absences with prior approval of the Senior Pastor.
