Other Construction Opportunities
Operation NOAH Rebuild
New Orleans and surrounding areas
Description: Operation NOAH Rebuild is a three-year partnership project (through August 2009) between New Orleans churches and associations, the Louisiana Baptist Convention, and the North American Mission Board to help New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Volunteers are needed to rebuild homes; start, restart or strengthen churches; and reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ though a variety of ministry activities.
Construction skills needed: Skilled and unskilled workers are needed to help with roofs, dry wall installation, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting and much more.

Appalachian Regional Ministry
Description: ARM is a partnership ministry of the North American Mission Board, the Woman’s Missionary Union and eleven state conventions within the Appalachian region. Volunteers are needed year-round to assist with long- and short-term projects related to church starting, church strengthening, ministry to children and youth, medical and literacy ministry, home and building repair and much more.
